The Anthill - A Fragmented View of the Designed Beyond

The Anthill is an intermission / / to relate and display how Uroborians design in these troubling times when everyone designs - in different ways - their own existence. This will happen in a virtual space (MozillaHubs) and a chat room (Discord) that Uroborians can fill with their own pictures, objects, gifs or conversations of what, how and where they design.

The Anthill will be initiated by the authors during the festival Opening program and continue to exist as a floating event throughout the festival duration.

Wonderful things happen in the liminal spaces of meatspace festivals and conferences. When moving from one event to another, sipping coffee or wine, pausing to mingle, or gathering in a celebratory mood at the end of the day...

The Anthill is a liminal virtual space where Uroboros pilgrims can find themselves ”in-between” the Uroboros Festival. The Anthill is a Discord server and a Mozilla Hubs virtual environment. Initially, the Anthill will be only a scaffolding with prompts waiting for Uroborians to enter and fill it with their own pictures, objects, gifs or conversations of what, how and where they design. When Uroboros ends, the ants might have a chance to look at one fragmented, incomplete, and glitchy Anthill of their own.

Designers are gods. Designers are cogs.
Designers are queens and drones.
